After spending a little time at Beacon's Closet in Williamsburg early this week, I stopped in Bakeri (where the old Cafe 1980 used to reside) for lunch. My friend Whitney, who has a pretty awesome blog herself about "style, inspiration, and good deeds" called http://www.benicebekind.blogspot.com/, recommended it. Bakeri not only has some amazing treats and sweets, but is very well-decorated in that hipster-retro-vintage-borderline shabby chic dreamy afternoon sort of way. Here are some photos:
Whether it be Dumont, Roebling Tea Room, or Spuyten Duyvil, Williamsburg is chock full of wonderful spaces donned with found objects, vintage mood, and good eats. I love it. Bakeri is a wonderful addition to this list! More pics below:
So go, enjoy the delicious baked goods, and soak up some of the hip atmosphere. Check out NFT's tiny two sentence write-up: http://www.notfortourists.com/ListingDetails.aspx?listingID=863876. Have a great weekend and try to make it out!
