brooklyn antique delight

One day I was on a quest to find a dictionary stand for a writer friend of mine. It's been her dream to have a gorgeous large wooden dictionary stand to hold the world's largest dictionary (no doubt among a library filled with musty books and a vintage globe). After a few inquiries to some of my savvier neighbors around Williamsburg, I came across Luddite, the world's coolest out-of-the-way one-of-a-kind finds store. It's nestled on a little corner of Broadway near the water, and is absolutely worth the walk over. To my delight, I not only found a couple stand options, but a treasure trove of antique novelties. Please note: old baseball gloves, wonderful industrial lamps, great old framed maps, etc. Enjoy!
